I am thrilled to share that Nasuni has raised a $60M financing round to enable accelerated product development, innovation, and market expansion. The round of financing was led by new investor, Sixth Street Partners, who invested the entire $60M, and represents a significant increase in value for Nasuni, just 18 months after our last outside financing round closed.

Moving your file data to the cloud isn’t just about leveraging scale anymore. That remains a major part of the story, of course, but AWS is also ushering in a new era of cloud services.

I’m not sure all of our employees followed every down, but I know they took pride in seeing one of our clients, Holologic, run a prime time Super Bowl ad. We are excited to announce that Nasuni was selected as a product of the year by Storage magazine, earning a silver award in the cloud storage category. As TechTarget’s Tim McCarthy notes in his news article on the subject, the pandemic has had a massive effect on the cloud storage market, prompting companies to search for products that supported remote work and expanded data access.

This past year was another challenging year but also many positive signs for the world. It was an exciting twelve months for Nasuni as companies accelerated their journey to the cloud. We capitalized on being able to help our customers against the ongoing threat of Ransomware and the accelerating interest in cloud initiatives and digital transformation to deliver phenomenal results in 2021.
