Recently, Nasuni hosted its first in-person revenue kick-off (RKO) in two years. This momentous gathering was not only a blast, but also set a precedent for Nasuni events to come. Because it was such a success, we decided to share our experiences to help guide you through the ins and outs of preparing, executing, and enjoying an outstanding RKO – whether you’re planning for a small team or the entire company.
I'm thrilled to share that Nasuni has officially been certified as a Great Place to Work. The employees of Nasuni work incredibly hard to create a supportive environment in which everyone from summer interns to senior managers have what they need to thrive, succeed, and have a fulfilling experience while working with Nasuni. This is a significant milestone for us, and I'd like to offer a few thoughts on how we earned this certification, and what it means to current employees and external candidates.
I’m excited to announce that Pete Agresta has joined Nasuni as our first ever Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) joining an already incredible management team. As we kick off 2023, I’m humbled to lead a go-to-market team that continues to achieve extraordinary business milestones — recently passing the $100m ARR financial milestone – to the highest customer satisfaction ratings in the market – to amazing internal employee satisfaction survey results.
We just wrapped up an exciting week at AWS re:Invent 2022 and I'm already looking forward to next year because I expect our relationship to continue to grow exponentially. But I'm also eager for 2023 simply because it's re:Invent — the conference that never disappoints! This year, we enjoyed great customer interactions, ran some truly insightful and exciting meetings with our partners at AWS, and hosted a few fantastic events.
We’re in the last stretch of the holiday season, and many of us here at Nasuni have been too focused on closing out the company's banner year to get all our shopping done. But we have a unique advantage. When we run out of ideas, especially for those hard-to-gift types in our lives, we scan our growing list of retail customers for inspiration. A quick look at these leading brands yields an idea for just about anyone, from the little kid to the grown-up geek.
In two weeks Nasuni will be hosting Nasuni CloudBound22, our third annual event, and the timing really couldn't be any better. We’re constantly having conversations with IT leaders who’ve learned the hard way that managing and relying on aging, on-prem file storage and backup infrastructure is no longer a viable strategy. We tailored Nasuni CloudBound22 to help IT leaders figure out what to do next.
If the energy industry teaches IT professionals one thing, it’s the importance of respecting the sanctity of data. Whether you devote internal resources to acquire seismic data or purchase it from another organization, this data is gold. Highly paid geoscientists and engineers need to be able to analyze it quickly and securely, wherever they might be in the world. If this data is lost, corrupted, or incomplete, these professionals can’t do their jobs, and the company loses money.
Welcome to 2022. Not only is ransomware still here – but it’s not going away any time soon. Ransomware hits a business every 11 seconds, according to CyberSecurity Ventures, and global damages are expected to reach $40B this year. Yet our customers have never paid a ransom, thanks to Nasuni’s Rapid Ransomware Recovery capabilities.
Happy Holidays from Nasuni! 'Twas the night before Christmas, and all over the globe, all their files were protected - or so they were told.
