Nasuni Momentum Continues in Europe

August 23, 2018 | Gini Gonzalez Nasuni Momentum Continues in Europe

Today Nasuni corporate put out a press release sharing more proof points of our building momentum in Europe, so I thought I’d add a bit more colour on why it is such an incredible time to be a part of our European team, which has jumped from the few who were here when I started just a year ago to more than 20 today!

It all starts with our customers. We’ve brought on 50 new accounts as more enterprises look for ways to accelerate digital transformation initiatives, reduce file infrastructure costs, and solve the challenges associated with the rapid growth of unstructured data. Countryside Properties, Cushman & Wakefield, Lloyd’s Register, Omnicom and Sports Direct are just a few who have selected Nasuni to do just that.

Our growth has been accelerated by our expanding partner ecosystem, which includes new VARs, VADs, and systems integrators from across the region. COOLSPIRiT, MTI, and Softcat in the UK, Cancom and Materna in Germany, and Quorum in Austria are some of our newest partners. Nephos Technologies, Nasuni’s longest-standing partner in the UK, was one of the first to recognise how Nasuni Cloud File Services modernises NAS, backup, archiving, and disaster recovery, while offering new capabilities for multi-site file synchronisation and collaboration. Here’s what their Director says.

“We are increasingly seeing customers look to cloud storage as the way to solve the challenge of rapid data growth. Like any technology shift, the move from disk-based file storage to cloud-based file storage is creating the opportunity for new vendors to emerge. Nasuni, by delivering the first file system that makes cloud object storage usable for storing files, is becoming the catalyst for this transition. We’re glad we were one of the first solution providers in the UK to recognise this shift, as our early partnership with Nasuni has enabled us to grow with them.”

Andy Hardy kicks off the presentations at our inaugural EMEA user group meeting at London’s historic Brewery venue.

It’s also been awesome to see us get so many customers in the region that we now have a need for user groups. Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of hosting 20 customers at our inaugural EMEA User Group meeting. Nasuni Executives provided updates and insights into how our business and roadmap are evolving and customers shared experiences and best practices with one another. We’ve already planned our next Regional User Group meeting in London for Spring 2019!
