Now is the Time for Your Next Cloud Migration

March 16, 2021 | Jeff Gusky Now is the Time for Your Next Cloud Migration

We are delighted to report that, Amazon has invited Nasuni to take part in the AWS ISV Workload Migration Program. This is great validation for Nasuni, but more importantly, it’s a tremendous opportunity for our existing customers. Before I go into those details, let me back up a minute.

When customers sign on with Nasuni, they’re often looking to solve a particular problem associated with a specific workload. Over time, as different stakeholders within these companies start to see the benefits of Nasuni — and realize, as one customer recently told us, that it actually works as advertised — they ask for more and more Nasuni, expanding their cloud file storage deployment to cover new workloads, use cases, and business groups.

That’s where this new partnership opportunity with AWS comes into play.

Under AWS’ program, for a limited time, existing Nasuni customers that expand their AWS footprints will receive incentives from AWS against their first year AWS consumption costThese incentives can be applied against S3 or EC2 consumption costs if you migrate new workloads to AWSThis is a time-bound promotion and normal AWS Terms and Conditionsapply.

Normally, when we talk to Nasuni customers about expansions, we focus on the strategic and operational benefits — how they can tap into unlimited, flexible capacity, reduce their reliance on traditional hardware, minimize risk at all their locations, free up IT cycles, and more. But these conversations often come down to money, and that’s one of the reasons we’re so excited about the AWS ISV Workload Migration Program. This is a unique opportunity for our existing customers to transform more data sets by utilizing cloud storage — and do so at an even lower cost than before.

I hope our valued AWS customers consider taking advantage of it and reach out to their Nasuni representative to discuss their options. If you’re thinking about moving another workload to AWS, now is the time.
