Nasuni’s Cloud Enabled Filer Hits Full Stride

Last week Nasuni announced the availability of a major upgrade of their Filer software. The Nasuni Filer provides a virtual NAS service, ideal for virtual server infrastructures that are using a block based storage (SAN) infrastructure or for those looking for file serving capabilities beyond what standard operating systems can provide. The 2.0 release advances an already solid 1.0 version of the product to add such capabilities as Microsoft Hyper-V support increased cloud backend storage options, tighter integration with Windows and additional controls and settings in the re-designed user interface.
