Six Months In: Building the Future of Unstructured Data Management

October 1st marks six months since I joined Nasuni — and what a rewarding journey it’s been! I’m grateful to all the Nasunistas who welcomed me so warmly. I sensed a company ready to scale new heights, and that first impression has only deepened. Together, we’ve taken bold steps that strengthen our foundation today and set the stage for even bigger accomplishments tomorrow.

Putting Customers at the Center

At Nasuni, our customers drive everything we do. They trust us with their most valuable data, and we work tirelessly to keep earning that trust. I’ve had the privilege of meeting customers and partners across our Customer Advisory Boards, User Groups, and Unify events.

Thank you for your trust and for helping me understand how we can continually support your business goals. We recently earned our fifth consecutive NorthFace ScoreBoard Service Award; a point of pride that reflects our commitment to helping enterprises protect, access, and scale their file data.

Fueling Innovation

Our ability to innovate is just as critical as our commitment to customers. Earlier this year, we expanded our global engineering footprint with a new hub in Hyderabad, India, opening the door to exceptional talent and accelerated product development.

We also launched File IQ Premium and Ops IQ: two powerful intelligence dashboards that help enterprises manage unstructured data at unprecedented scale. These new capabilities serve as building blocks for an AI-driven future, where insight and automation define competitive advantage.

And we don’t innovate alone. By working closely with technology partners like Microsoft, Google, and AWS, we bring the best of the cloud to our customers. These relationships accelerate how we deliver new features, enhance resilience, and ensure enterprises are ready… Not just for today’s challenges, but also for the opportunities of AI and digital transformation.

At Nasuni, we know managing unstructured data feels impossible; it makes up more than 80% of storage, it’s the biggest cost center, and it’s growing faster than budgets ever could. That’s why we’ve built our product on a proven NAS foundation to cut costs, simplify management, and speed recovery. We are creating a next-gen NAS and UDM solution that can solve today’s operational challenges while building a globally accessible platform ready for AI and digital transformation. It’s the bridge from the present to the future.

A Team to Lead Our Evolution

Of course, great strategies demand a great team. We welcomed new Chief People, Information, and Security Officers, and strengthened our go-to-market engine with new Chief Revenue, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders. We’ve also brought on board 80 new teammates across all functional areas. Each brings deep expertise and shared passion for the next phase of unstructured data transformation.

Market Validation & Presence

Industry leaders like Gartner, Frost & Sullivan, and ESG continue to recognize Nasuni’s product innovation and market leadership. We look forward to showcasing this leadership and engaging with customers and partners at Microsoft Ignite, AWS re:Invent, and Gartner IOCS this fall. These events serve as critical launchpads for new ideas and collaborations that will shape the future of enterprise cloud strategies.

The Best Is Yet to Come

Thirty days in, I talked about building momentum. Six months in, that momentum is only accelerating. I’m inspired daily by our team’s creativity and drive, and by the trust our customers place in us. The progress we’ve achieved is just the beginning. As we enter the next chapter, we’ll keep innovating, delighting customers, and redefining what’s possible for global file data services.
