Platform Updates in Web Access, Intelligence, and Platform Performance

This release focuses on streamlining end-to-end workflows with deeper data intelligence, more seamless collaboration experiences, and a modernized infrastructure built for today’s performance demands.

What’s New?

File IQ Premium Enhancements

  • Access Control List (ACL) Harvesting & Analytics: Scan, parse, index and filter on file and directory ACLs. This functionality improves visibility to Nasuni content and strengthens risk management by identifying files and folders with inappropriate permissions.
  • Advanced Filtering Export – this feature enables exporting advanced metadata filtered results to a CSV file to support large-scale analysis, bulk remediation workflows, and third-party tool integration.
  • Integrated Sizing Tool -The File IQ Sizing Tool is now built directly into the configuration UI, providing real-time usage tracking, growth projections, and a Simulation Mode for capacity planning.

Advanced Web Access Enhancements

  • Office 365 Integration – Web Access now leverages the native Microsoft 365 file viewer and editor, expanding preview capabilities and enabling seamless in-browser editing for modern Office file types. Multiple users can now collaborate on the same file with a native Microsoft 365 co-authoring experience, with changes automatically saved back to Nasuni.
  • Expanded Web Access Auditing – Web Access now records a broader set of file system activity with enhanced contextual detail to improve visibility, troubleshooting, and compliance reporting.

17G Hardware Platform

  • Nasuni introduced 17G hardware models. The new 17G platforms provide a modernized architecture designed to deliver significant performance improvements, expanded storage options, and enhanced hardware capabilities.

Additional Enhancements

Hypervisors –The QEMU Agent is now supported with Proxmox, enabling power control and appliance IP address visibility within Proxmox.

  • Cloud Providers and Object Storage – New Google Region added for customers using Nasuni with their GCP subscriptions
