3 Reasons to Follow Nasuni at Microsoft Ignite 2024

Nasuni’s Paul Horn shares three reasons why you should be excited to attend Microsoft Ignite this November.

October 28, 2024  |  Paul Horn

The biggest Microsoft customer event of the year is finally back. After a hiatus from larger in-person conferences, Microsoft rolled three of its flagship events into a single four-day event focused on the latest innovations for AI transformation. Running from November 1922 in Chicago, Microsoft Ignite will bring together everyone from C-suite executives to partner decision makers and hands-on-keyboard technical experts. Clearly, customers and partners have been waiting for the return of this kind of event. In-person tickets sold out in just four days.

Nasuni is going to have a major presence as part of both the Technologist and Partner tracks. We’ll be delivering two featured talks, meeting partners and curious attendees at booth #504 in the Hub (the center of the event), and hosting a kick-off event at longtime customer The Field Museum.

This four-day conference is going to be intense, and while I’m tempted to lure you with free drinks and swag, here are 3 strategic reasons to follow Nasuni at Microsoft Ignite 2024.

1. Integration with Microsoft AI Tools

As I highlighted recently, we’ve had an incredibly successful relationship with Microsoft, and today our technology is more aligned with the company’s mission than ever. Nasuni is perfectly positioned to help companies with the AI transformation Ignite is all about. Our latest integration with Microsoft 365 Copilot, for example, enables customers to use AI chatbots and AI Search solutions that leverage their Nasuni data.

2. Critical Role in AI Readiness

At a broader level, Nasuni has the ideal platform for organizations looking to start implementing or experimenting with AI tools because of its critical role organizing and securing file data. These enterprise AI tools are only going to be as good as the data you feed them, and Nasuni gives you the power to consolidate, curate, and secure that data to optimize your results. To that end, I’m excited to hear more about what Microsoft will be launching in the next phase of its AI technology rollout, and how we can start working with customers to ensure they get the most out of this next generation of tools.

3. Strategic Alignment with Microsoft’s Mission

This tighter strategic alignment with Microsoft is creating new business development opportunities for Nasuni, Azure, and our joint customers. At a practical, dealmaking level, I’m also eager to find out what Microsoft is planning on the Azure Marketplace front, and any other new ways to incentivize customers to grow their cloud deployment.

As you map out your Ignite schedule, be sure to attend either the virtual or in-person technical talks from our Sr. VP of Product, Nick Burling, along with Sr. VP of Business and Corporate Development Michael Sotnick’s presentation about partnership and strategic alliance possibilities. We will be staffing Booth 504 on the Hub floor and available virtually, too, ready and waiting to chat everything Azure- and data-related. Stop by or reach out to discover how AI is propelling our Microsoft relationship and enhancing customer value across the cloud file services industry. See you at Ignite 2024!
