Users report cloud storage security concerns in surveys

Cloud storage security concerns rank high among survey respondents considering cloud storage adoption, according to cloud gateway vendor Nasuni Corp.

Nasuni’s survey of 451 IT decision makers in North America found that 81% have concerns about data security in the cloud, while 48% worry about data control concerns in the cloud. Forty-three percent of those surveyed plan to store data in the cloud in the next 12 months.
