Cloud Storage Heats Up

Cloud storage is hot as evidenced by announcements from EMC, TwinStrata, Panzura and Nasuni this week and last.

Last Wednesday, TwinStrata announced that it enhanced its iSCSI-based cloud enablement software with support for high-availability clustering, Solaris interoperability, alerting and performance capabilities. CloudArray Version 2.0 now supports integration with Mezeo, Peer1 and Scality storage platforms and is available in both physical and virtual appliance configurations.
