Nasuni Earns 2023 Great Place to Work® Certification™
Nasuni Recognized for its Community-Focused and Supportive Workplace
BOSTON, March 16, 2023 – Nasuni Corporation, a leading provider of file data services, is proud to announce it has been Certified™ by Great Place to Work®. The prestigious award is based on reports from current U.S. employees surveyed about their experience working at Nasuni. In fact, 95% of Nasuni employees said the company is a great place to work, compared to the Great Place to Work 2021 Benchmark study average of 57%.
Great Place to Work is the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience, and the leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention, and increased innovation.
“Great Place to Work Certification isn’t something that comes easily – it takes ongoing dedication to the employee experience,” said Sarah Lewis-Kulin, vice president of global recognition at Great Place to Work. “It’s the only official recognition determined by employees’ real-time reports of their company culture. Earning this designation means that Nasuni is one of the best companies to work for in the country.”
This certification was awarded based on two key factors: the percentage of U.S. employees completing the survey and the number of positive responses submitted. The top category score cited by employees was “Justice,” where 97% of employees expressed they felt that management promoted inclusive behavior and was committed to ensuring a fair workplace. Another top category was “Intimacy,” with 96% reporting they enjoyed working with their colleagues, had the sense they can be themselves, and that they could count on and support one another.
“Seeing these overwhelming positive responses coming in from our employees fills me with a sense of pride,” said Kathleen Parrish, chief people officer of Nasuni. “Our core values focus on a culture of teamwork, integrity, quality, accountability, and transparency. I’m happy to see that these values were measured in the survey, and that employees agree they see this in their daily work life. Our employees truly feel that Nasuni is a great place to work.”
“The past few months have been a whirlwind at Nasuni,” said Paul Flanagan, chief executive officer of Nasuni. “As a business, we surpassed $100M in annual recurring revenue, a significant milestone for a SaaS company. We also released new add-on products that take the Nasuni File Data Platform to the next level and continued to add proven leadership to our world-class Board of Directors and executive team. But our number one asset in the company is our employees. They make us great and are the future of Nasuni. I am thrilled to see that our employees feel their value and are proud to work here. We thank them for all they do every day to earn this incredible recognition.”
According to Great Place to Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a Certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at Certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work, and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company’s profits, and have a fair chance at promotion.
