School opts for Nasuni Filer and cloud storage
London independent school Shrewsbury House has implemented the Nasuni Filer virtual NAS product, which operates as a NAS device on-site with online cloud storage as its target media. With approximately 650 user accounts, the school needed to implement offsite data protection for disaster recovery (DR) purposes.

With only about 200 GB of data to back up, Shrewsbury House did not require a full-featured backup product or service. After evaluating other products, the school settled on Nasuni Filer. Microsoft Windows RoboCopy is used to back up user data to the Nasuni Filer, which then moves data to an online cloud storage provider.
