Get Back-to-School Ready with a Little Help from Nasuni Customers

Customer Marketing Manager Mackenzie LeBert shares her top tips for beating the back-to-school scaries with Nasuni customers.

In my household, preparing for the new school year is like nailing Jello to a tree – chaotic and impossible to control. There’s a whole stack of fresh textbooks on the reading list. We’ve all got into bad snacking habits while on vacation, and somehow the kids have grown at least five inches over the break.

I don’t know about you, but I find myself playing out in my head exactly how that first day is going to go and planning for every eventuality. My fellow parents will know all too well that you have to be ready for anything.

But there’s one thing I do have on my side: so many Nasuni customers are household names. High quality, well-known, in demand brands, that together take the stress out of back-to-school. Thanks to them, I’m confident in my approach for a successful Day 1. Here’s how it will go for me, and I hope you can take some inspiration from it too.

The Breakfast Pick-Me-Up

The alarm clock goes off far too early. I must admit, I’ve enjoyed a few relaxing summer lie-ins. Even at breakfast, I’m still only half awake. Luckily for me, The Bountiful Company has a whole range of vitamins and health supplements that I can pick from to help perk me up for the day ahead.

The Overflowing Backpack

No amount of careful planning can avoid the race to leave the house, but at least the kids are kitted out head-to-toe in Carter’s finest. This children’s clothing brand has been a valued Nasuni customer since 2020, and I swear their Quick Dry Uniform Shorts are indestructible! The boys are wearing their new Under Armour backpacks with pride. Word on the playground is that the UA Hustle 6.0 in Summit White is all the rage.

And while the kids might think it’s less cool, I packed all their books for the new school semester the night before. Barnes and Noble is my go-to bookseller (yes, they’re Nasuni customers too). They have a whole section just for non-fiction, and also stock a ton of Study Aid and Test Prep Books.

The Mad Rush

I successfully get everyone out the door and into the car. Between all the jockeying for who gets what seat, thank goodness the kids have Otterbox accessories to protect their tech! This summer we’ve gone all-in with phone covers, screen protectors, and spare chargers. I now firmly believe there’s another dimension where all the lost charging cables, odd socks, and spare keys end up.

The Speedy Shop

After waving goodbye to the kids at the schoolgate, I finally get a moment to work in peace. Logging in on-the-go is no problem for me because the Nasuni File Data Platform lets me access my files lightning fast from wherever I am. I can even collaborate with colleagues in real time without stressing about version conflicts. But of course, the respite doesn’t last long…

… So I squeeze in a quick visit to BJs Wholesale Club. For the past two years, Nasuni has been helping them future-proof their business and improve operations in their retail warehouses across the country. Their stores are a lifesaver when it comes to stocking up on healthy, fresh, delicious groceries. I prep salads and snacks for the week ahead for healthy choices at our fingertips.

The Clean-Up Operation

Vacuuming the house was absolutely not on the itinerary for my day. How did it get so messy already? But thanks to the new Shark Stratos™ Cordless Vacuum, that’s done in a flash. Shout out to SharkNinja, who recently joined the Nasuni family. Welcome to the fold!

Before I know it, it’s time to pick up the kids. We have a strict routine in our house of half an hour’s homework before dinner. Our customer Paperworks Industries, a wholesale supplier of paperboard products and packaging, has probably had some part to play in the story of most stationery in North America – including the notepads on our kitchen table.

The Wind Down

Tonight I get dinner from Wegmans. These guys have been customers for 5 years. I like to think their fast-file access helps with my fast-dinner access. I love their new Meals 2 Go service, especially the power meals that each contain at least 20g of protein to help with our health kick.

Once everyone’s in bed, I congratulate myself for surviving the day. I’m exhausted just thinking about it! A small sip of Rabbit Hole bourbon, courtesy of Pernod Ricard, and a bit of Ghirardelli chocolate help with the night time wind down. I am so grateful that we have such a versatile customer base.
