Nasuni Named Tech Awards Circle Winner

Nasuni Selected Among Top Technology
Products, Services, Vendors, Individuals for 2010

NATICK, Mass., July 13, 2010 – Nasuni, the leading gateway to cloud storage, has been selected as a winner of the Tech Awards Circle, taking Gold in the Midrange Services category.  Winners were selected by an independent circle of publication reviewers/journalists from nominations based on a broad range of achievements – from product and technology innovations to talented executive leadership and engineering innovators.

Tech Awards Circle celebrates the products, services, vendors and individuals making a difference in the industry today. The winners represent a broad range of achievements, from hardware to software to services in consumer/SOHO, SMB, midrange, and enterprise markets. Gold, silver and bronze awards were given out in each category.

“Despite overwhelmingly strong competition, Nasuni exhibited true industry excellence to be recognized among the top of the Tech Awards Circle,” said Kevin Anderson, awards program coordinator. “Our judges were pleased at the level of submissions from all the vendors entering this year’s competition, so to be named a winner of this prestigious award is a testament to the quality and innovation unrivaled in the high tech community.”

“The Tech Awards Circle are decided by an impressive group of judges,” said Andres Rodriguez, CEO of Nasuni. “It is an honor for Nasuni to be recognized.  We are obsessive about the quality of our product, and this award proves that our hard work isn’t going unnoticed.”

The winning product, the Nasuni Filer, is an elegant, downloadable virtual NAS appliance that runs on a server in your office.  It is designed to resemble a traditional NAS, but it has more than traditional talents. It’s the Filer’s job to monitor the cache and direct traffic to the cloud, and it’s through the Filer’s simple interface that you select your cloud provider, manage your volumes and performance, and use your file protection tools.
