EVP of Sales and Field Operations
Joe Gately is responsible for Global Field Operations at Nasuni, including Sales, Channels, Business Development and Solutions Engineering. He brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the software and storage industries.
A proven executive and entrepreneur, Joe has extensive experience in senior management roles at technology companies. He has assumed leadership roles in everything from fast-growing startups to mature organizations operating at a $300 million revenue run rate. Prior to joining Nasuni, Joe led the buyout of ByteSphere, a software company specializing in Global IT Management solutions. Joe was ByteSphere’s CEO until the company was successfully acquired by EXFO.
Prior to ByteSphere, Joe founded two successful companies, including Linx Communications, a pioneer in unified communications that was acquired by one of its outside investors. He also served in a variety of senior sales and general management roles at BMC Software, Mazu Networks (acquired by Riverbed), and GiantLoop Networks. His storage roots run deep, too. Joe was an early Sales and Marketing leader at EMC, where he helped drive the company into the storage market. At Nasuni, Joe plans to use his extensive experience in the IT and storage solutions markets to accelerate the company’s growth and expansion both domestically and overseas.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Management Information Systems from the University of Rhode Island.
