Eric Soffin leads sales for the Central Region at Nasuni. An experienced startup entrepreneur, Eric has been a critical force in driving Nasuni’s adoption among global enterprises.
Since his time as a sales representative for Compuserve Network Services in the late 1990s, Eric has focused on selling disruptive technologies to Fortune 1000 enterprises and other major companies. In 2003, Eric moved to Pinnacle Data Systems, a custom hardware company, where he expanded the business from $3M to $20M annually. After a sales leadership role at Egenera, a startup focused on virtualizing the I/O layer, Eric took over the Central sales region for Akorri, an IT management software provider, and rapidly grew its business until it was acquired by NetApp.
Eric joined Nasuni in 2011, when many enterprises were still wary of leveraging the cloud for storage, data protection, and other file services. Initially, his role was closer to a technology evangelist, helping leading enterprises envision the strategic, financial, and business benefits of Nasuni. Since then, Eric and his sales teams have been instrumental in driving Nasuni’s annual revenue growth by signing numerous Fortune 500 enterprises in multiple major industries, including AEC, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Eric has a BA in Marketing from Western Michigan University.
