EMEA Region Vice President
Andy Hardy leads Nasuni’s sales operations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. With a background in enterprise IT, Andy has a proven track record of growing technology businesses in EMEA, and is responsible for securing partnerships with several of Nasuni’s largest customers.
Originally from Australia, Andy began his career in electronic engineering at the Royal Australian Air Force. After a decade in corporate IT, including several years as an IT Director for a global investment bank, Andy transitioned into a role with the firm’s Private Equity group. He initially spearheaded investments in Enterprise IT companies before broadening into other technology sectors and healthcare. Andy then became a Managing Director at Compellent, one of his portfolio companies, and grew his group’s sales to $65M before its acquisition by Dell.
In 2013, as the leader of Dell’s storage sales teams for EMEA and Emerging Markets, Andy began to recognize the decline in the market for on-premise hardware. He started to see the inevitability of unstructured data moving to the cloud and, after two years growing the EMEA business at data protectection software developer Code42, he joined Nasuni in 2015. Andy doubled EMEA new customer acquisition in his first year with Nasuni, and increased the following year by 2X, landing deals with multiple industry-leading Fortune 500 companies.
A private pilot, Andy once flew his single-engine Piper Cherokee from London to Sydney to raise money for Oxfam.
