Growth of unstructured file data across industries has been one of the primary engines driving our success over the past ten-plus years. Every industry vertical is dealing with file growth, but it’s no surprise that healthcare is seeing more challenges than most.

My role at Nasuni has changed over the years, but I have always been an advocate for technical upgrades that make the platform simpler, faster, and more powerful.  Our 9.5 release, which is in limited availability now, will be generally available early next year, and delivers all of these values in one package. 

My head is still spinning from AWS re:Invent 2021, but before I get into the exciting news to come out of the conference, let me just say how fantastic it was to be back at a real, live, in-person event. Last year at this time, I wrote about the virtual version of re:Invent. Somehow, AWS managed to make it interesting and stimulating for all of us home-bound, screen-sick cloud geeks.

As company momentum continues to grow out of our record-setting third quarter, I’m proud to announce that our Customer Success organization is keeping pace, winning the prestigious NorthFace ScoreBoard Award for 2021.

It’s been a very exciting year for Nasuni and today we announce another significant milestone with the appointment of Thomas Stanley to our board. Nasuni has grown rapidly over the past 4 years and as we come up on a significant revenue milestone for our Company, we have realized that adding relevant leadership to our team will be important to our success.

What you do always matters more than how you do it. Relentlessly focusing on what you do and improving that as technology evolves is the only way to keep from becoming irrelevant.

Ransomware is top of mind for every large organization these days. The unfortunate truth is that you can't really prevent an attack. The hackers are clever, resourceful, and have all the time in the world to find ways to infiltrate your systems.

The year isn’t finished yet and we still have plenty of work to do, but I’m proud to report that after a fantastic Q2, we upped our game in Q3, driving both bookings and revenue to all-time highs — and meeting our always aggressive goals.

At the end of September, we hosted the second annual virtual conference dedicated solely to cloud file storage, Nasuni CloudBound2021, which was a huge success.
