JOB-NASUNI-008 - Inside Sales Representative (Account Manager)
The Account Manager will be the first front-line team member of a rapidly expanding direct sales effort. Our newest business team member will be responsible for the complete sales process from qualification and some lead generation to close. Candidates should have proven success selling SasS or some other comparable service with a similar price-point to our current offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue and new account targets
- Drive revenue by closing sales, directly via phone, and with channel partners
- Develop and improve “benefit statements”, “elevator pitches”, and “battle cards”
- Keep all required lead/prospect/account/contact information current in the salesforce.com database
- Proactively seek customers by daily lead follow-up/cold calling for new accounts
- Stay current with SaaS and storage technology (cloud & SAN) content and competition
Need to have
- 3-5 years of inside sales experience in the software industry meeting/exceeding monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com
- Experience with the complete sales cycle over the phone (lead generation, prospecting, qualification, selling, and closing)
- Strong work ethic, ability to adapt to rapid changes in market and customer focus, and the intelligence to give appropriate and thoughtful feedback to management
- The ability to work daily in Natick, MA
Nice to have
- Storage/NAS sales experience
- Work experience in a startup environment (and a desire to do it again)

Responsibilities
- Produce well-written, effectively-structured material: white papers, emails, newsletters, ad copy, web pages, blog posts, video scripts, and more
- Interview internal/external experts, and research topics relevant to company projects
- Edit copy, written by others in the company, for accuracy and style
Need to have
- 3-5 years of writing experience, preferably in IT or Technology
- Portfolio of white papers, blog posts, web pages, landing pages, banner ads, emails, and other marketing-related material
- Experience in interviewing experts, and in producing expert content based on those interviews
- Ability to write cleanly-structured material accessible to readers with varying levels of technical knowledge
- Self-motivation; ability to work independently and on multiple projects
- Impeccable editing skills – the ability to polish pieces written by non-writers, to catch mistakes, and to ensure that content matches research
- General knowledge of the IT industry

JOB-NASUNI-018 - Sales Engineer
Nasuni Corporation is currently looking for a seasoned Sales Engineer to join our team. The Sales Engineer will work with prospective customers and partners to shorten the sales cycle by overcoming technical hurdles, helping to formulate test plans, and developing appropriate collateral. The successful candidate will possess strong technical experience with a focus in storage and virtualization combined with a desire to work closely with customers to identify solutions. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate complicated technical material to audiences of all technical levels.
Responsibilities
- Interface with various customers at both a business and a technical level and propose viable solutions in real time during customer meetings.
- Support sales members with several live product demonstrations daily for customers via Webex (or similar tool)
- Work with other Sales team members to share knowledge and best practices to advance the sales of our products and technologies.
- Consistently learn about advancing technologies and competitive products in the marketplace with a focus on boiling down highly technical information into a package that peers and customers can understand
- Assist with the development of our channel partners - conduct joint account calls, update their technical staff on new products and features, and work with them to develop solutions for customers.
- Join sales-team members in weekly meetings, review opportunities, & share suggestions for improving our overall sales efforts
- Develop high-quality technical & non-technical presentations, testing best practices, battle cards, case studies, use-case overviews and other collateral.
- Handle large numbers of opportunities in a fast paced inside-sales environment with a sales cycle of weeks, not months.
- Participate at trade events, seminars and user groups, as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Software Vendor, IT Consulting or Systems Integration environment. Direct sales experience is a major plus.
- Hands–on experience with server operating systems (i.e., Windows, Sun, Linux), NAS software and hardware, as well as tiered storage environments.
- VMware experience required.
- Experience supporting sales to mid-market IT organizations
- Self–starter that manages time and activities with little day–to–day guidance or interaction from management.
- Excellent listening skills resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction; must be able to identify opportunities as well as potential technical hurdles.
- Excellent presentation capabilities.
