Cloud Security Webinar Addresses the Real Security Risks of the Cloud

We hear a lot of concerns about security and the cloud. Security has been a major focus for us from the start, and the security model we chose for the Nasuni Filer mitigates the very real risks of storing data in the cloud for our customers. But for many people, there are still a number of unanswered questions. To address these concerns, our CEO, Andres Rodriguez, will be hosting our first cloud storage webinar this Wednesday at 1:30 PM EDT. Participants will come away with a far better understanding of security in cloud storage – the risks, the challenges, and the potential solutions.

Andres, a long-standing storage expert, will review the top security concerns of the cloud, explain the security differences between SaaS, cloud compute, and cloud storage, and detail a security model that can mitigate the risks of storing data in the cloud.

This webinar is just the latest step in our effort to educate businesses on security and cloud storage. In addition to posting frequently on security issues, and offering our take on storage and security news, we’ve been trying to answer some of the big questions out there. We released our list of the top five security challenges of cloud storage: data leakage, cloud credentials, snooping, key management, and performance.
