Recovering Nasuni From a Complete Disaster

Upgrading from 2.x to 3.x?
Please review the following tips before you begin the DR upgrade process:

• Avoid upgrading during normal business hours - moving from 2.x to 3.x takes longer than a normal upgrade cycle. Normal DR's (covered by our SLA) are guaranteed to occur in less than 15 minutes.
• Make sure you've downloaded or found all the encryption keys.
• Make sure all data is pushed (snapshotted) to the service prior to shutting down your old Filer. There's a specific "push all data and shutdown" option when you choose shutdown from the Filer's UI.
• Keep the old Filer around (archive off the ESXi box if you have no space) until you are sure the new filer has everything you needed.
