Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative will be the front-line team member of a rapidly expanding channel sales effort. Our newest business team member will be responsible for the complete sales process from qualification and some lead generation to close. Preferred candidates will have proven success selling enterprise storage solutions or some other comparable service with a similar price-point to our current offering.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue and new account targets
  • Drive revenue by qualifying sales, directly via phone, and with channel partners
  • Keep all required lead/prospect/account/contact information current in the salesforce.com database
  • Proactively seek customers by daily lead follow-up/cold calling for new accounts
  • Stay current with storage technology (cloud & SAN) content and competition

 Need to have

  • 3-5 years of inside sales experience in the software industry meeting/exceeding monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Experience with the complete sales cycle over the phone (lead generation, prospecting, qualification, selling, and closing)
  • Strong work ethic, ability to adapt to rapid changes in market and customer focus, and the intelligence to give appropriate and thoughtful feedback to management
  • The ability to work daily in Natick, MA 

 Nice to have

  • Storage/NAS sales experience
  • Work experience in a startup environment (and a desire to do it again)
  • Working knowledge of storage solutions, current offerings, and competitors

Sales Operations Manager

Nasuni is seeking a highly analytical, organized, and experienced Sales Operations Manager to support our Sales organization in harnessing the potential of our Salesforce & supporting systems for mission-critical data management, decision support and reporting.

The Sales Operations Manager will have the opportunity for significant growth at Nasuni, with the potential to assume increased responsibility and to broaden the scope of his/her work to be the “go to’ person supporting the Vice-President of Worldwide Sales.

Data Management

  • Manage all activities related to the day-to-day operations of a customized Salesforce implementation
  • Build & maintain customized Salesforce.com reports and dashboards, in partnership with the Sales and Executive teams, that meet cross-functional needs and produce relevant and useful data 
  • Upgrade existing Salesforce implementation and supporting applications wherever possible

Forecasting & Analytics

  • Make recommendations and produce solutions for tackling the tough questions and challenges of the Sales team and the organization by using existing and attainable data; collecting, managing, and analyzing data will be essential to strategic planning and execution for the Sales teams

Training & Support

  • Drive adoption of new Salesforce applications and tools across the Sales team; design appropriate training, resources, and tools

Collaboration

  • Provide systems and information support and mentoring to the Sales Prospecting team
  • Run weekly Sales pipeline meetings for all sales team, including ensuring that accurate data is available for the meetings
  • Liaise with the Finance department for customer invoicing, sales commissions, forecasts and budgets
  • Support the Vice-President of Worldwide Sales on a day-to-day basis

Candidate Qualifications and Competencies

  • Expertise with Salesforce reporting, applications, and tools (formal Salesforce.com training or certification and 5-7 years of experience with Salesforce), including the ability to create complex queries, exports, and reports
  • Successful project management experience that involves complex, entrepreneurial and culture change elements
  • Ability to problem-solve, adapt, and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment that requires managing multiple changing priorities and projects while driving toward deadlines
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work product and attention to detail
  • Strong learning orientation, i.e., the ability and willingness to learn and grow from mistakes
